I hardly ever give 5 star reviews, but this thing is perfect! Small size, large capacity, no power cord needed. Just plug into a USB port and back up your data. And easy to carry off site or traveling.

I never understood why these Aegis Apricorn HDD’s weren’t more popular. Mostly what you see are Iomega and Western Digital for some reason. Apricorn HDD’s are far superior IMHO. I’ve had all three for many many years. Iomega gives me a lot of grief and their support sucks. They are so overrated. I’ve had their other products too, like a DVD drive, but will never buy Iomega again. WD was better, but clunky and noisy. Aegis is best! Never a problem, light weight, no power cord, and it just works!
